I was worried when the Russian Invasion of Ukraine started, but they’ve proven me wrong; Blackthorn Vision has shown that they’re willing to go beyond the call of duty to do their job.

ANC is a technology and media company headquartered in New York that specializes in designing multimedia experiences for brand marketing. They deploy media systems for over 10,000 events annually in stadiums, entertainment venues, transit hubs, trade centers, and other commercial spaces. While working on this project, our dedicated development team created a remote access system that enables orchestrating multiple computers through secure VPN servers. The project quickly scaled into a complex platform with diverse technologies and advanced features like real-time video editing, dynamic content triggering, and live data streams.

To make it all work, our engineers built robust cloud infrastructure and distributed system components between three servers. This eliminated the chance of security breach and let us balance server resources in line with the workload. Since it is a mission-critical project, meaning that our client fully relies on the software to run their operations, our task was to achieve zero downtime and prevent any disruption.

As the Russian Invasion of Ukraine started, we communicated every day to keep our client in the loop and update them about the situation. Since the project relies on cloud infrastructure with servers located in the US, the client’s data and resources were well-protected. Our PM and cloud developers created a contingency plan to ensure the system stays available at all times.
