About the project 

A powerful software solution providing ultimate control over assay setup, read-out, and live cell recovery. It enables seamless control over data exported from optofluidic platforms, allowing users to view individual cells or pen chambers filtered by user-defined characteristics, visually monitor cells during culture and assay, and export data with desired characteristics. 

Challenge 

Optofluidic platforms generate gigabytes of data per experiment, creating a bottleneck in analysis. These include images of cells at every experimental step and are stored in CSV and XML formats. Previously, biologists had to manually process data files or write Python scripts, which was extremely time-consuming. They needed an efficient solution to: 

• Identify the most relevant files and image sequences 
• Build complex filters for reuse and sharing 
• Work with multiple experiments simultaneously 
• Generate custom charts with drill-down capabilities 
• Export analyzed data into professional PDF reports 
• Analyze massive data sets quickly 

The solution also had to be memory-efficient, fully configurable, and support plugin integration to meet diverse laboratory needs.
