Business Analyst

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in the role of Business Analyst in IT;
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in the international environment;
• Experience in transition business requirement into the accurate technical specifications for technical teams;
• Experience in optimization of the business processes;
• Deep understanding of different SDLC, including Agile;
• Experience in product backlog management, project roadmap, activities planning & prioritization;
• Task management (sprint planning, tasks distribution, change requests tasks accomplishments monitoring);
• Developers’ team management skills;
• Understanding the full software development lifecycle;
• Strong analytical skill, good organizational skills, attention to details;
• Experience in building UML Diagrams;
• Experience with product ownership related tasks;
• Excellent communication & presentation skills;
• Upper-intermediate or advanced level or writing and verbal English;

Would be a plus:

• Experience of working in Oil and Gas industry.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination of business requirements validation and negotiation;
• Close communication with customer and development team;
• Collaboration with software development teams: clarification and gap analysis of business requirements, development of use cases, technical documentation for software developers and QA;
• Analysis of the competitive products on the market;
• Business requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation;
• Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies;
• Effectively maintain project backlog and keep the requirements specification for new functionality up-to-date;
• Elicit, analyze and convert business problems into feature requirements; present requirements to the team

Our customer is the world’s leading provider of technology for reservoir characterization, drilling, production, and processing to a global energy industry.

The web based solution was designed to compute, analyze, control and communicate the parameters needed to optimize production of naturally flowing wells. It is used by operators and maintenance personnel of petroleum companies to monitor a status and productivity of oil and gas wells and other equipment.

Over the last six years, our team has been participating in developing Digital Oil Field solution. All business and operational challenges were solved by clean, accurate and comprehensive analytics which involves monitoring, collecting and contextualizing large amounts of data, and then presenting it to workers in the form of useful, actionable insights.
